Letters and Sounds Activity

Learning songs and rhymes-

Singing Nursery rhymes over with your child is a great way to boost language development.

Did you know that we slow down our speech when we sing, which helps children hear all the words, anticipate the repeated phrases and follow along with the actions.

It’s great to make singing and rhyming activities part of your daily routine, bedtime is the perfect time or at times when events occur such as singing ‘it’s raining its pouring’ when out in the rain.

Whatever the weather.

Whether the weather be fine

Or whether the weather be not,

Whether the weather be cold

Or whether the weather be hot

We will weather the weather

Whatever the weather

Whether we like it or not.

We will be out and about in all weathers.

Please make sure your child has adequate clothing,

We do have water proof suits and wellies to borrow.

Spare Clothes

Please check your bags and have a refresh of weather appropriate clothes in their bag daily.
