🌱 Springtime Fun at Brighstone Preschool! 🌼

Rosanna Hatt • June 3, 2025

Joyful springtime learning as Brighstone Preschool children explore nature, develop skills, and grow their curiosity in our vibrant garden spaces.

Highlights from Our Spring Garden Adventures:

  • Children explored nature through gardening, watering, and observing plant growth
  • Mud kitchen play encouraged creativity, role-play, and teamwork
  • Outdoor numeracy and physical play boosted confidence and coordination
  • Hands-on activities supported Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) learning
  • A safe, engaging environment nurtured happy, healthy development in the spring sunshine

Our garden has truly sprung to life, and so have our little learners! The children at Brighstone Preschool have been thoroughly enjoying their time outdoors this spring – exploring, planting, climbing, and creating with boundless curiosity and joy.

From watering growing seedlings to stirring up tasty “mud kitchen” recipes, our preschoolers have been learning through play in the fresh air. We’ve loved watching their confidence grow as they engage with nature, practice teamwork, and develop essential skills in our safe and stimulating garden space.

Whether it's number hopscotch, imaginative role-play in the mud kitchen, or gentle gardening with watering cans in hand, every moment is a chance to explore, discover, and thrive.

At Brighstone Preschool, we believe outdoor learning is just as important as indoor exploration – and spring is the perfect season to make the most of our beautiful surroundings! 🌞🌼🌿
